The Interior Design Training Centre is part of Borders Connect, one of the UK’s leading providers of professional online training. Our courses allow you to study from anywhere in the world, in your own time and at your own pace.

We endeavour to provide you with full information about the content of courses, any prerequisites for enrolment and our recommendations about the time required to complete each course.

In enrolling on your chosen course you are confirming that you have received enough information and are satisfied that the learning programme you have chosen is suitable for your needs and abilities.

Please note that our study programmes and materials are designed for adult learners. If you wish to enrol a student under 16 years of age, please contact one of our advisers to discuss this, and the extra support that may be required, before enrolling.

Our courses undergo regular redevelopment and updating to meet latest syllabus requirements. While we make every effort to ensure the information on our website is as up-to-date as possible, this may mean that course content varies slightly from that shown.

Your Course Fees

Your course fee includes:

  • your course materials delivered in a pdf format,
  • individual tuition from an expert tutor,
  • daily instant chat access to your tutorial team – we undertake to provide this 7 days a week throughout the year, between 9am and 9pm each day, excepting technical issues.

Cancellations

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your enrolment within 7 days. If you decide to cancel your course we will provide a full refund if:

  • you contact us by letter, fax or e-mail within seven working days of receiving your first batch of material,
  • you delete any material already supplied.

You will be deemed to have accepted the course if you do not notify us otherwise within seven days after delivery.

Online Course Materials

Online course materials are supplied for use by the student identified during enrolment only. The student may save one copy of the materials on their personal computer and also print one copy of the material for their personal study use only. Materials must not be distributed in anyway, to other people or online. Breach of this condition will result in immediate cancellation of the course without refund.

If course material is accidentally deleted during the duration of your course, we are happy to provide new copies, delivered to your email address.

Change of Details

Please inform the Interior Design Training Centre immediately of any changes to the contact details you supplied at the time of enrolment. Failure to do so will mean that we are not able to provide you with course updates or further batches of study material in a timely manner.

Reasonable Behaviour

We expect students and their representatives to refrain from using language that can be reasonably thought of as offensive or abusive, including swearing, shouting, sexist or racist remarks and libellous or defamatory statements. Should the behaviour of a student or their representative be found in our opinion to be unreasonable, we reserve the right to terminate the enrolment.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for direct losses arising out of our negligence (other than in respect of liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence), breach of contract or any other cause of action arising out of or in connection with your enrolment be limited to the fee you paid for your course.

Other than in respect of liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (including without limitation any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity or your liabilities to third parties) which you may suffer arising out of or in connection with your enrolment.

Other Terms

No relaxation or indulgence which we may extend to you, shall affect our rights under these Terms and Conditions.

If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been agreed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.

Data Protection

You agree that, in relation to information, which we hold on you from time to time, we may:

  • use your information to provide your course materials and tutorial support, and otherwise perform our obligations and enforce our rights under these Terms and Conditions;
  • send information on other courses, if you request it.
  • your information will not be used in any other way.
